ShatterCast

The Champions face new threats as they continue their travels.

Will they be able to survive the journey through a deadly storm?  How will they handle a potentially dangerous encounter with strangers upon their path?

What causes one of our players to say... "that looks like a 'g' over a potato, bro."?   This leads to real doubt as to if our Champions will be able to overcome their most challenging foe yet... NUMBERS!!!  Haha  :)

All of this and more as our adventure continues!

"Through the Realm of Light and Shadow" is an original role-play adventure based in the Lord of the Rings setting.  Check out the original video version here:

https://youtu.be/V3qph9-npMU

Journey with us and hopefully even be inspired in your own life and faith as you see our team strive to overcome challenges.

Special Note:  Players usually attempt to role-play how they believe their character would act in various situations.  We may not always agree with those responses or actions in real life.

This adventure features laughter and fun banter between the players, however, it also depicts battles and overcoming some challenging situations.  So like the Lords of the Rings movies, we recommend this tale be enjoyed by teenagers and older.

To bring our adventure to life we are using the "Adventures in Middle Earth" core books by Cubicle 7, which is based on the 5e ruleset from D&D.

Over the last few months, multiple lawsuits have rocked the entertainment industry.

The most disturbing involves the State of California vs. Activision Blizzard including allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination within the workplace.

A second lawsuit involves the Black Widow actress, Scarlett Johansson, suing Disney (parent company of Marvel Entertainment) for loss of personal revenue because of how the movie was released.

In the Season Finale of ShatterCast, we share our honest opinions about the lawsuits and the impact they could have on the entertainment industry.  We also discuss one troubling similarity we found in both cases - the rather strong and defensive initial response from the entertainment companies.

How could they have handled those responses better?  And in our own lives, how do we handle times when we might be accused of something?

Special Note: We are not legal experts and are just sharing our opinions based on reports that have gone public at the time of this recording.

And no worries, ShatterCast will return for SEASON FOUR in the near future!

Nintendo Switch announced their new model, the Switch OLED.  But with just an upgrade to a dock and the screen, has Nintendo done enough to convince consumers it is worth the increased price tag?

And out of nowhere, Valve decides to enter another handheld into the market, the Steam Deck.  Who is the target audience and will it prove to be a direct competitor to the Switch?

Valve has also been very open with who can use the Steam Deck.  What can we learn from this about the nature of teamwork especially when it comes to aspects of life and faith?
