The Champions battle the Uruk-hai with all they have.  But will even some mystical weapons and unorthodox fighting techniques be enough to help a party member in need?

All this and more in our next Role-Play adventure!

"Through the Realm of Light and Shadow" is an original role-play adventure based in the Lord of the Rings setting.  Check out the original video version here:

Journey with us and hopefully even be inspired in your own life and faith as you see our team strive to overcome challenges.

Special Note:  Players usually attempt to role-play how they believe their character would act in various situations.  We may not always agree with those responses or actions in real life.

This adventure features laughter and fun banter between the players, however, it also depicts battles and overcoming some challenging situations.  So like the Lords of the Rings movies, we recommend this tale be enjoyed by teenagers and older.

To bring our adventure to life we are using the "Adventures in Middle Earth" core books by Cubicle 7, which is based on the 5e ruleset from D&D.  Find out more about those resources here:

The Champions are back!!!  Also returning are their customary horrible dice rolls, dysfunctional team dynamics, and yet periodic inspirational moments.

As they stand toe to toe with their greatest threat yet - a dreaded Uruk-hai - will the team be able to rally and help drive out the Shadow once and for all?

All this and more in our next Role-Play adventure!

The fans wanted it, now they have it - all four hours of Zack Snyder's version of the Justice League! #TheSnyderCutIsHere

How does this Snyder cut compare to the theatrical release?  What are some improvements that have been made?  What are some things that could have been left out?

It is also clear that Snyder and the studio execs had different ideas of what this movie should be.  Perhaps a better theatrical version could have been released if both sides were willing to listen to the advice of the other.

In life, we might also face conflicting ideas.  Why is it important to not only seek advice but to also be humble enough to listen and to follow it as well?

All of this and more and our next exciting episode!

Special Note: This segment contains spoilers for Justice League (Theatrical and Snyder Cut versions).

WandaVision is the first series connected to Marvel's Cinematic Universe to premiere on the Disney Plus Streaming Service.  In this segment, we do a full spoiler review and share our thoughts on this groundbreaking show for Marvel.

Do we think it shared in the same production and storytelling quality as the Marvel movies?  What do we think worked well about this series?  And is there anything we would have changed?

One of the major themes of this series was also the idea of dealing with Grief.  How can grief impact our everyday lives?  And how can not acknowledge the effects of grief impact even those around us?

All of this and more in our next exciting episode!

Special Note: This segment contains full spoilers for WandaVision.

Our players reflect on their experience of Session Seven.

What were some of the thoughts behind their character's actions?  What did they learn about asking for help from others?  And why is it so important to be very careful who and what we follow both in-game and in real life?

All this and more in our next Role-Play adventure!

In Part 2 of our special Director's Chair series, we share what games we would love to see updated and/or remade.  Our discussion was triggered by the upcoming Mass Effect Legendary Edition remake, and we discuss other upcoming remakes as well.

We also discuss the idea that when a game is remade there is an opportunity to improve upon the previous version.  However, there is also the need to make sure the new game honors the previous version also.

At times, we have opportunities to remake areas of our life as well, especially when prompted by growth in our faith.  How can we make the most of those opportunities for the benefit of others and ourselves?

All of this and more in our next exciting episode!

Special Note: This segment was recorded before BlizzConline 2021, where a game that was mentioned "Diablo 2" was revealed to indeed be getting a remake.

This is Part One of a fun new series we are doing called "Director's Chair".  This week we are focused on Superheroes.  If we were in charge and could make a TV show based on any superhero character(s) we wanted, what would it be and why?

Many of the shows we thought of feature teams of superheroes.  In our own lives, why is being part of a team so important?  How can surrounding ourselves with healthy community really benefit us and others?

All of this and more in our next exciting episode!
