In our final episode of the relationships series, we will talk at length about rebuilding trust so a healthy community can surround you. Often, when mistrust exists, we isolate ourselves believing that's what is best however, isolation isn't God's best for you.
Healing from past wounds as a result of experiences in previous relationships is vital in rebuilding trust. From there, we can implement the tips talked about in this episode to put ourselves back out there and find community!

In this episode, we're covering collaborations and partnerships, and for those who are single, raising daughters, or have some influence in the lives of young girls we're going to talk about having a standard for ourselves in whom we date.
In this episode, I offer the non-negotiable things I taught our daughter Sam to look for when considering dating and who she would eventually marry. If we don't teach them, the world will!

This week, we’re continuing the series on relationships with a conversation about your inner circle. The people we surround ourselves with matter because they influence the choices we make, and how we live our lives, and our circle influences our faith.
This episode will help take the guesswork out of who should be in our inner circle because Susan clearly explains what those people sound like and add to the lives of others.

I'm often asked about relationships and how to navigate the challenges that we all encounter so I decided to do a series on the most often-asked questions. In this week's episode, we're going to talk about being labeled too much, too loud, too intense, too assertive, too ______.
It's time to stop wearing the labels people place on you and start walking in the freedom that how God created you was intentional and not a mistake!

Susan has talked about fear a few times on this podcast but wanted to have another conversation about it with a few added thoughts. Fear especially shows up when we need to make a decision or need direction. Often, when people feel anxious about making a decision, they seek guidance or signs in ways that aren't in their best interest.

This week, we're joined by my friend, Rachael Jenneman to talk about becoming a confident female leader. In all the years of engaging in this type of conversation, I have to say that how Rachael approached this topic was top-notch. She models integrity and it shows in this conversation.
One big takeaway is this - in a world that tells us men and women cannot co-labor together or that to get ahead, women need to push men out of the way, we can choose to be women who respect our male colleagues and still lead confidently.
Rachael Jenneman is a wife, mom, and first-generational Christian. She is a former staff pastor turned radio broadcaster and podcaster of the Unique on Purpose show. She is also a speaker and author. She and her family reside in Michigan. You can connect with Rachael in any of the methods below.

For the woman who feels like quitting, we believe this episode will help you not only identify why you want to quit but help you push through those feelings.
In this episode, we'll see that quitting and letting go of something the Lord is finished with (a season has ended) are two different things. Feelings to quit are secondary feelings to an underlying issue.
Stay tuned to the end as Susan felt prompted to share a word of encouragement for anyone struggling not to quit.

Hey! How are you? It's been a couple of weeks since I last released an episode so I thought I'd drop by with a quick update.
I'm looking forward to connecting with you next week as we resume regular programming with an episode, Becoming a Woman Who Doesn't Quit.
Stay well and I'll catch you back here next week!

One of the biggest reasons people quit things they once were passionate about is because they feel unsupported and encouraged. We've all been there and will experience these throughout our lives so it isn't that we need to work harder to avoid them, but rather how to keep going despite of them!

Continuing with the theme started a couple of weeks ago on what things to expect when you step out into something new or decide to go all-in with your faith, this week we will focus on how to handle being misunderstood.
Often, people attach their thoughts or expectations on others about how to do something rather than allowing them to grow and become all the Lord has called them to be.
No longer allow being misunderstood to cause you to shrink back!
