Over the next few weeks, we'll be covering specific things that you'll encounter when following the Lord into something new. Things such as the opinions or voices of others, fear, doubt, and lack of support, and encouragement.
We're looking forward to connecting with you over the next few weeks!

We're wrapping up the series on the Armor of God this week with a conversation about prayer. It is one of the most under utilized parts of our armor, yet so powerful against the enemy!

This week, we're learning what the sword of the Spirit is and how to use it effectively! Continuing to use the Roman soldier as a metaphor for the Armor of God, the soldier could have all the other pieces of his armor but without his sword, the soldier would be a sitting duck - vulnerable and defenseless!
Without the sword of Spirit in our hands, spiritually speaking, we are ineffective at engaging in spiritual warfare.

To "wear" the helmet of salvation properly we need to understand what salvation is. In this week's episode, we'll look at key Scripture verses to understand what we're saved from and by whom.
For the Roman soldier, the helmet was a fitted piece of armor that covered his ears, and facial area, and for some, offered small protection over the eyes. We will also consider how our helmet of salvation offers us protection in those same areas.

The shield of faith is the fourth piece of the Armor of God the Apostle Paul writes about in Ephesians Chapter Six. One of the things that stands out to me is that he says "...take up the shield of faith..." The words take up tell me it's something we are responsible for. In other words, there is a preparedness or readiness on our end that is required!
This episode will champion you forward and help equip you to push back the enemy when you feel opposed in your faith!

This week we're looking at what the shoes of peace are in the Armor of God. If you have felt knocked around in your faith or feel you've lost your footing, this episode is for you! Get back up, sister!
With the shoes of peace, you can take a stand and stand your ground!

This week we're continuing our series on the Armor of God with the Breastplate of Righteousness. As we look at King Solomon this week we will see that it wasn't outward pressure that harmed his leadership and the nation he led, but an inward weakness - his heart. He wasn't living a life that reflected the righteousness of God.
Righteousness and holiness still matters!

We're in a mini-series on the Armor of God and this week, we will be taking a look at the Belt of Truth. It's important to understand what truth is and how to apply this vital piece of the armor to our faith.

We're starting a new series that will help listeners better understand spiritual warfare and the Armor of God. In this week's episode, we will lay the framework for upcoming episodes that unpack each piece of the armor.
As followers of Christ, we are in a spiritual war. Whether we understand it or even agree with it; we are in a spiritual war but through God, we will overcome!
Be sure to subscribe to the podcast so you don't miss an episode and share with someone who you know would be encouraged in this series.
