We've all been jealous at some point; perhaps you're there now. This week I am committed to bringing this topic into the open for an honest conversation with one mission - to help us not only be free from jealousy but to maintain freedom when it shows up in our lives later on!

Let's be honest, sometimes relationships are hard. Sometimes it's our own expectations, insecurities, or misconceptions that make having friends difficult.
In this week's episode, we're joined by my friend, Bridgette Tomlin and together we are having an honest conversation about not only being a part of a community but creating a community around us. We're thrilled you're here and can't wait to connect with you this week!
Bridgette and her husband, Chresten, have been married for 25 years and have been in the ministry together for every single one of those years! (whew!) 24 of the 25 years have been spent in full-time evangelistic work, both stateside and overseas. They have two beautiful blonde babies--ages 18 and 13--and are based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a gifted singer, musician, and speaker, Bridgette is used by the Lord and plays a major role in the couple’s ministry—both administratively and ministerially. She has a heart to see the people of God grow and mature spiritually. Bridgette ministers through speaking engagements, blogs frequently from their ministry site, and is the founder of a ministry for ministry wives, Sanctuary. Sanctuary launched a podcast for women in ministry in 2020 called Let's Talk with Sanctuary and Bridgette serves as the primary host.
When she finds time for personal hobbies, Bridgette enjoys entertaining, blogging, singing, browsing the local antique shops, and sipping on a cup of hot tea for a few precious quiet moments. Her heart is to lead others to the authentic presence of God--through worship, through Word, and through one-on-one connection.

Everyone in life receives criticism. Whether through comments, in conversations, emails, text messages, or in the workplace criticism is part of life. Because we can't completely avoid criticism, it would be wise to better understand how to handle it when it comes.
In this week's episode we're going to focus on five key ways of handling criticism well, and rather than allowing it to keep us bitter, resentful, or even stuck, reframe it to learn and grow from.

This week Karen Lundberg joins us on the show to talk about how to live a Spirit-led life. The Lord has gifted Karen with the ability to teach Scripture in a way that anyone can wrap their faith around and apply it to their lives. She's been a guest at a few She Rises events and is one of my favorite communicators.
Karen is a wife, mom, and grandma. She is also a pastor with a passion for evangelism and reaching people with the love of Jesus. Karen works within the school district in her community where the Lord uses her to be His hands and feet. Karen is also the founder of Time to Ignite Ministry with the mission to see revival in the hearts of every believer and across the world. She and her husband, David, make their home in Lubbock Texas.

I'm thrilled to officially share, together with this week's guest, all the details about an upcoming weekend created for women coming January 13-14, 2023. It's a weekend for women to step away and find breathing room for their souls as they sit at the feet of Jesus.
This week, we are joined by a special guest, Hannah Harren. Hannah has such a beautiful and tender heart for the Lord. You will undoubtedly hear that in this week's episode. Hannah captured the heart of the Lord for this weekend with this quote, "I believe the Lord wants us to hand over our ashes from the last season so we can walk forward in all He has for us in the next season."
We hope you will join us in January! As mentioned in the episode, space is very limited so grab your tickets here https://www.sherisesmn.org/.

This week, one of my dearest friends, Robin Ruonala, joins us to talk about her story of how God helped her through one of the most challenging times of her life - the tragic loss of her first husband.
Be encouraged today that no matter what you've been through or walking through right now, it isn't the end of your story.
In Word, and in song, Robin’s desire is to impart a transparent expression of hope and freedom; in Christ - to this, and future generations.

Identity is a topic I could have a conversation about every single day! It's the overarching message of everything She Rises is about.
In this week's episode, I am sharing a portion of a message I gave recently at a conference for young adults. I hope this episode helps you throw off anything you might be wearing that isn't meant for you.

God's blessing, favor, and anointing are upon you being you, not a version of someone else! You can glean from another person and even admire her, but don't take the bait of comparing yourself to her.

Are you an overthinker? You're not alone! Overthinking create scenarios in our minds without proof to support our thinking. This often leads to worry, anxiety, and strain in relationships.
You can shut the door to overthinking! You are not powerless! Together with the tips shared in this week's episode and the help of God, you can steer and guide your thoughts in the direction you want them to go.
