During my training runs, in preparation for my first 50k ultramarathon, I’ve started to get more and more uncomfortable with the distance. And in order to get through those tough runs, primarily because of the distance, I’ve found myself thinking of ways I could make the experience bearable and easier.
I started asking myself Tim Ferriss’s question, “If this were easy, what would it look like?”
And that’s the exact same question I’d love for you to ask yourself when you find your runs feeling a bit unpleasant, becoming more tough because you’re working outside your comfort zone, and lacking ease.
Which is why, in today’s episode, I wanted to talk with you about Three Simple Ways to Make Your Runs Easy.
Please understand that although I’m all about making things easy, I’m also about creating opportunities for growth and encouraging you to run outside your comfort zone now and again, so you can discover more of who you are and more of what you’re capable of.
Because you are capable of way more than you give yourself credit.
And to help you navigate those moments of discomfort as you uncover and discover more of who you are I created these three simple suggestions.
