There are over 10 million self-help books available for reader consumption throughout the world. It is imperative to note that most of our population recognizes that stagnation is not a part of the human condition, instead, movement ensures life and vitality. In so doing, humans recognize that growth is the natural progression of any living being. Henceforth, humans attempt to seek betterment daily. Regardless of our current position in life, for the most part, we seek to improve our lives in all seven circles, directly or indirectly. I must admit that in some form or fashion, I’ve isolated these areas, and I am on a mission so to speak, that will inevitably lead to success. If we were scheduled to complete our betterment journeys, we would have to master our spiritual life, our physical health, our personal life, our finances, our business, our career, and our relationships. This is a tall order, for each circle requires attention that we may not be able to give daily. Upon starting on this journey, one area may succeed while others falter below our expectations. The cycle will continue until you achieve balance, or you give way to the areas that you prefer. In a worst-case scenario, some may give up on some areas altogether, preferring not to be bothered by concepts such as ‘self-actualization’ or ‘self-development’. Amid conflicting views, we must remember that there is room for betterment.
