On this week's episode we talk about Church Detox; yes I went there. I sense that we are in a season of shifting and transition, and many are going through a detox. There has been a shift in the way we see God, there has been a shift in the way we understand church and there has been a shift in the way we position ourselves as believers as it pertains to the church. The Lord wants to first validate what you're feeling and second, He wants to reintroduce Himself to us. Jesus and the church has been presented to us in a very unhealthy way, illustrating that it is because of works why we are saved, justified, and loved by Christ. Today we shift that narrative and we begin a discussion of the "new normal" as it pertains to our relationship with Christ.

On this week's Episode we continue the conversation with Dr. Joseph Smith and Ashley Keene. However, this time there is a spin on, as we transition to tools of transformation and healing. We encourage our listeners to use these tools of healing for themselves, and for others around them. Ashley provides us with tools of healing, Dr Smith speaks to how we can create spaces of healing for Black men, and I provide six soul care tips for the Black Believer. I think my favourite part of the conversation was the collective healing mantra, which states: I am healed, I belong here, I am loved, I am appreciated, I will maintain healthy resilience, and I am seen. It was such a beautiful moment of healing and restoration. So, do you have your notebook and pen? Are you positioned and ready for God to pour into you? Because I am excited about what is going to pour into you, it will be healing and transformative, and you will never be the same. The journey of healing continues!
Finally, at the end of the episode I announced the launch of my new line Healed Collective. Join in the movement and purchase your Healed People Tee.

Last week Thursday during our Soul Care healing collective Live discussion, we had the awesome opportunity to be joined by Ashley Keene and Dr. Joseph smith. Ashley Keene is a Nurse and a Spoken word artist. Ashley's approach to healing is so refreshing, and her insight on trauma and our bodies is something you don't want to miss. Dr. Smith has been doing community work for a number of years and his insight on healing in the Black community is both profound and grounding to say the least.
As the Soul Care Superhero, my mission to see healing in the Black community, and I think that it is important to hold space and have conversations of healing. We had an amazing 2 hour discussion, and this week I am giving you part one of the discussion! During this podcast we discuss, the effects of trauma in the Black community, how trauma affects Black bodies, and toxic masculinity among Black men. In addition, we share our own journeys of healing and transformation.
If you were able to join the Live conversation last week, you can do one of two things or both! First, you can listen to it again because I am positive you missed something. Second, you can share with someone else who might benefit from this conversation. Finally, as I always say, grab your notebook and your pen and get ready for God to download in a special way.

Today's episode is a worship and intercession podcast. Today I pray specifically for the Black community, and what has been taking place around us. I am so grateful that we are able to invite Jesus to be apart of this journey with us, knowing that He fights for us, and He sees us. It has been a hectic couple of weeks, and perhaps we haven't had some time to settle down and connect with God, today's podcast will provide you with that moment of pause and realignment that you may need. Also, thank you for touching and agreeing with me in this moment, I believe we will begin to see change in our community.

On today's episode we talk about unlocking shame and walking in the freedom of Christ. Shame is a tool that the enemy uses to keep us from living out our fullest potential. Shame is a heavy load that we walk around with even though Christ has already set us free. Today we walk through the the definition of shame, we talk about where shame was first seen in the scriptures, and we talk about why the enemy wants to keep us bound in shame. Following, I provide some tools on unlocking shame and I talk about the two types of shame that often holds us captive. Be ready for the Holyspirit to minister to you in a powerful way, and be ready for a supernatural release from shame. Excited to continue on our journey to wholeness!

Today we dive into the love of God and what that means for us as His sons and daughters. As always I am transparent, and I share my own journey of soul care with you. I talk about my journey as I learn to accept God's love and I share direct conversations between me and the Father. I encourage us to shift our perspective on the love of God, and have a clear understanding of that vertical relationship with Christ; His love is reciprocal and He chases after us! Finally, I say a prayer for you and I speak words of healing to you straight from the Father's lips. I'm excited to share this podcast with you today. Our journey to wholeness continues!

On today's podcast I share 10 things that I have learned during this pandemic that will become core principles in my life moving forward. I highlight these principles because I want to bring you on my journey of continuous self-discovery and personal development; but also to challenge you. I want to challenge you to dig deep and think about some things you have learned during this time. What are some things that God has been speaking to you about? What are some things that you have learned about yourself? Today I challenge you to grab a piece of paper, write these things out, and think about how you will apply them to your life moving forward.
