Co-op preschools offer affordable daycare for families by allowing parents to volunteer at their child's school. Virginia officials want to increase the training required for parents to volunteer to one hour of training per one hour in the classroom. This is an unnecessary and impossible regulation that could lead to co-op preschools closing their doors.
