💪 If you are a fitness newbie, you might be overwhelmed the first time you step into the gym. Maybe you even jump around to all the different machines every time you are there, without ever having a real routine in place.
💪 Some trainers even suggest that you SHOULD do a different workout every time. This is called muscle confusion and the goal is to avoid hitting a plateau during weight training. It keeps your body feeling sore every time you work out.
💪 However, this isn’t the best way to exercise. If you don’t stick to a routine, you aren’t giving your body the chance to become better at a specific exercise. Our health journeys aren’t just about reaching our body success goals. It’s all about our mental wellbeing as well. And sometimes that gives us the most motivation.
💪 Today on #Training&WellnessThursday, I’m going to let you know how often you should change your workouts in order to see maximum results.
💪By sticking with the same workout for up to four weeks, you’re going to look and feel stronger. When that happens, you’re going to want to get back to the gym every single day.
