Other things that were hidden away with the ark included the anointing oil. The Gemara provides both a recipe and the narrative of the miracle involved when Moshe made it the first time, and for all time. Also, the Luchot, the Tablets of the 10 Commandments, and what was written on them - a lot more debatable than we might have thought!
