- "House of Leaves" Part 1: WTF Are We Reading?
We're reading "House of Leaves" by Mark Z Danielewski. In this episode, things get weird, things get oppressively boring, Rich learns how to do laundry, and so much more nonsense! Regardless, we have a lot of fun and add a few hundred dollars to the swear jar.

About Shelf Importance
From the publisher's feed
Shelf Importance is a comedy book club podcast that masterfully blends sensibility with vulgarity. Four friends meet every two weeks to discuss the current book they're reading as a group.
We began meeting during the 2020 quarantine as a way to keep ourselves sane. Along the way, one of us found out they had a long-lost brother, so he joined as well so we could figure out if he secretly wanted to murder them.
We've been streaming as a vidcast since early 2021. In addition to subscribing to the podcast, make sure to check out our live streams on Twitch and YouTube, where we also showcase other things that are important on our shelves, like video games.
