Meet Lisa Maria Alvarado, dreamer, creator, educator, and community queen. She will make you feel loved, at peace and simply joyful. Come along with me as we hear her journey through practicing gratitude so you can live your best life, and womxwise, an organization that started out as a dream that provides space for your dreams.
As we each may be in a reflective state at the end of the year instead of being down on ourselves for what we may not have accomplished lets be proud of who we are, what we have, and what we can be tomorrow.
What does gratitude mean to you? How can we each practice gratitude?
Lisa shares her journey and provides simple ways that we can mindfully show gratitude and how great it is. It will truly change your body and mind. Never mind the science that backs that up.
Lets stop and smell the roses, literally, and get out of the program and grind.
Just try it! You wont regret it.
Let's follow along and invest in each other.

Meet Geraldine Cole, creator of Instagram page, @imperfectworthybrave.
Two years ago Geraldine started a poem. This poem has become healing and started her journey with creating a space to amplify voices of others. She is a survivor and is playing catch up, learning to love herself.
She shares that we can embrace our true selves, find out who we are and unlearn bad habits by being kinder to ourselves, and stand by those that support us. We do not have time to wait for people to like us.
Geraldine encourages us to take more risks. It wont be easy, but this is truly when we learn more about ourselves.
She was an inspiration to me to start my podcast. Her page brings warmth, encouragement, and truth. Thank you!
Amplify your voice - don't stop being you. You deserve to be heard.

Welcome to the Shelley Ann Show podcast! So excited that you are here to share this journey with me. It has been a dream of mine to start a podcast, and this is the one that almost wasn't. I talked myself out of it many times for many reasons. I look forward to sharing everyone's story and my hope is that you will feel encouraged, inspired and touched by that one message, that one guest, that one moment. I will make mistakes....thank you sticking around.
This episode I will be giving a quick intro into why I am starting a podcast, what was I thinking?!?! And of course I will laugh at myself. Laugh along with me as we become fearless together.
