Friends and family are helping keeping me grounded.

We always always ALWAYS have a choice- we can choose to live in the fear based thoughts all the time OR we can acknowledge the fear that we have for what it is, then we can CHOOSE to see something different.  

Appreciate the moments we have right now…the extra time we have with our family,..the snippets of time they are getting along  ALMOST make up for the other 90% of nitpicking!  LOL!

As Gen Xer’s we were raised by parents and grandparents who taught us to “work hard for money, don’t show emotions, ignore what happened when you were a child, you’re an adult now”…

Compare that to our children, Gen Z.  Everything is quick and easy…Netflix, Doordash, people making LOTS of money from YouTube videos.  

Not knowing there is a different way, we continue to live in the fear based, scarcity (never enough) mindset we saw as kids.  Our beliefs and habits were well established by the time we were 7…our life is essentially on replay as we default to the allowing the child version of us decide what is best for the adult version of us.  

There is a different way.  You don’t have to continue to let your little girl, the 7 year old version of you who was told that success was hard, making money took time, or that “we” will never be rich/successful/skinny (insert anything!)

We DECIDE to see the current situation for what it is in truth!  We call BS on the stories we were told as children.  Science tells us our mind/ego will support whatever we believe.  If you believe success is hard, if you believe loosing weight is hard, if you believe making money takes time…your mind will find evidence to support that belief.  I am telling you now it is a CHOICE.

We choose to see the truth of the situations NOW rather than assuming what has “always happened” is going to continue to happen…versus reliving the outcomes of our child  We align to the abundance, positivity and success because we freaking DESERVE it!

It takes the courage to challenge what feels comfortable and safe even if it means we are unhappy.
