If you've lost your faith or belief in yourself, this episode will help you remember...

Belief is an interesting concept.  When we are little we believe in Santa Claus until we learn he doesn't exist.  Then we believe in the Magic of Christmas and we celebrate the Reason for the Season.

We believe in a higher power- God, Spirit, the Universe.  We pray, chant and/or meditate for our family, our friends, and the world!

We believe and support our children, family & friends.  We encourage them to follow their dreams and reach for the stars!

What happened to the belief in ourselves?  At what point did we decide that we weren't worthy of MORE?

We literally have a spirit squad waiting for us to tag team them into the match!  Together with our belief in a higher power AND our belief in ourselves, we can be unstoppable!

In this episode Lisa & Heather open up about "miscarriages" and the BS stigma that needs to end.  A recent traumatic event with a dear friend who experienced the loss of her in-utero baby has brought up a lot of emotion for both Lisa and Heather.  Lisa opens up about the grief she is processing around the losses she and her husband experienced.  

Lisa and Heather share the real and raw truth around the losses they experienced.  Both had unique and different experiences, one who had support of others while one was left expected to "move on" not sharing the loss with others, unable to grieve the losses.
Despite what society has conditioned us to believe, the loss of a child at any time and in any capacity deserves acknowledgement.  It is only when we stop being resistant to receiving, when let go of the need to be strong, independent and "handle it" alone, that we ultimately become stronger than ever before.

Whether you have experienced this loss or not, this episode is for you.  It is our message, our hope and our dream that women will allow themselves to receive the love and support that they deserve.

Just like my mom gave me, I give you...permission

Permission to let down the walls, to allow yourself to relax, receive and to let go of guilt.

The decisions you make now can WILL impact your future in one way or another.

When I met Jeff, I had really tall and very sturdy walls.  I was very safe behind my walls- I depended on very few.  I lived on auto-pilot  so that I kept my vulnerabilities hid behind the walls.  After time, I let Jeff peek behind the walls...just enough to show me a certain amount o love & support...but not enough for me to NEED him or to become reliant on his love.

This episode will speak to you if you live that guarded life- behind the walls, behind the plaster smile, behind the "it's fine, I'm fine...everything is fine"...

I am Control is an illusion.  It pains me to say that, but it's true.  It's taken me too many years to come to the realization that in order to live a happier life, I need to loosen my need to be in control.

Our habits, beliefs and actions usually stem from childhood.  I have very little stability in my life as a kid- no fault to the adults in my life.  My parents and the other adults did the best they culd with what they had.  They provided love & support in the ways they new how.

As I grew up, with the responsibility of helping take care of my younger brother- the need to be constant control took over.  

Did I mention I am also a Taurus...sun & moon and rising...so to say I am stubborn is an understatement (just ask my family!).

In my desperation to control something, I was challenged with another valuable life lesson...let go.

This is a funny episode where I share the story of how determined I was to take down our pool, the same pool it took 5 adults (3 grown men plus Colin & I) to put together.

I am guilty of it just as much as the next person... You know the feeling, when you are overwhelmed, frustrated, confused or simply ticked off because you don't know what you are supposed to do.  When you've prayed for the answers, asked every friend, family member and confidante what to do- then most likely ignore the advice they gave you.  When you have serious conversations with your spirit guides - begging for just a SIMPLE sign to point you in the right direction.

Sound familiar?

That has been me ...time and time AND time again.  Questioning, overthinking then second guessing the next step.  

For the last couple weeks, I had been overthinking, second guessing and doubting my next steps...not sure what to do.  I prayed for a sign, I begged my spirit guides to show me the way...

And I got what I asked for.  I saw the signs...motivational quotes, chapters in books I was reading, messages rom friends- even memes.  But I still wanted more...I needed more proof to be 100% certain that I was doing was what I was supposed to be focusing on.

Then one afternoon when one "random coincidence" (I don't for a second believe in coincidences) lead to another and I was being TOLD exactly what I needed to do.

We all go through it, we all wonder if we can believe and trust these signs to be true.

Welcome to my first puppy podcast!  It took me 2 pauses and 3 attempts to complete this episode...I tried my best to edit out the puppy-pauses, but that's real life!  

What is the rest of the year going to look like?

Will the kids go back to school…should they?

What if they do and then they move to 100% distance learning?

What will fall and winter sports look like?  If we have football, will grandparents, other family and students be able to go support the teams?

If we have distance learning, how will we manage online learning, work and everything else (I feel like we barely managed March-May!)?

What are you doing to prepare for the unknown?  

Is that even possible?  For most of us, back in March, we learned that our lives can be turned upside down in a matter of days, if not hours.

While we might not have control over WHAT happens, we can control HOW we respond. 

It’s ok to admit that you weren’t prepared for the first half of 2020 and that you have just been trying to catch up.

What if there was a space where you could go to...

Feel supported.  Feel understood.  Learn together.  Heal together. Laugh together. Grow together. Cry together. Explore together. BE together.

Navigate the end of this crazy year together and RISE together!

RISE is a space where you will find your way.  Your power. Your light. Your voice. Your space.  And OWN THE F*ck OUT OF IT ALL!

RISE is for the woman who is committed to becoming the best version of herself- whatever that looks like…no matter what 2020 throws at us next.

RISE is a sacred, safe container for women who want to harness the BIG energy that is 2020 and use it to end the year feeling successful, confident, accomplished, satisfied & knowing you didn’t let the crazy times get in the way of living your best life!

This is a place for women to take up space, to see each other, to hear each other, to witness each other and to allow ourselves to grow and evolve!

This is the place for fun, for curiosity, for questioning, for releasing, for rebuilding, for supporting, for exploring, for cheering, for crying, for ALL OF IT.  Whatever the last part of 2020 has to offer us, we will accept, honor it, learn from it and move through it TOGETHER!

RISE will take place off of social media because our intentions are to be deliberate with our time and energy.

RISE starts August 3 and will continue through November 30.

During this time, we will connect face-to-face for weekly women’s circle hosted on zoom.  We will incorporate moon circles, guided meditations, group hypnosis and reiki shares into the meetings

Offline, you will have access to connect via other platforms and apps that will allow us to support each other through the weeks & months.

There will be an onus of self direction as well.  We will provide resources and suggestions for reflection and growth but it will always be at your own cadence and self- initiation to complete these additional efforts of expansion.

Most importantly- your energy is what the world needs right now, your heart, your vision, your love!  Show up with that and the rest will fall into place as it is meant to!
