Shit We Wrote

Aliya and Tanner are back for a mess of an episode where they roast baby Aliya. We're doing a prison break y'all and two new characters join the cast. William finds the love of his life in a convict, and Kayla proves she is a terrible ally and falls for a homophobe that they decide to break out too. Join as Aliya and Tanner yell into the past about baby Aliya's ability to turn LGBTQ+ issues into an "agree to disagree" situation. Yikes. 

Aliya messed up the scheduling of the podcast so here's an early treat for listeners: A tanner episode! And boy is this one a doozie. We learn that Tanner has a very interesting insight into the mind of the straight man, and family dynamics get weird. Buckle up!

Aliya and Tanner are back with the quickest court case in the history of all time and we learn nothing about how jail is supposed to work. When Jordan cutting her hair to pretend to be a boy and sneak into the male jail cell to be with Kyle was the best scheme 13 year old Aliya could come up with, you know the episode is going to be cringey. 

Aliya and Tanner are back with special guest Stephanie Hofmann. In this episode of Faeries (part one) we don't really interact too much with the winged creatures. Instead, we talk a lot about tea and meet a bitchy goblin. 

Cue all the 69 jokes. Tanner and Aliya are back with special guest Stephanie Hofmann as shit hits the fan in this chapter. We have arrests, a death, and now we're awaiting a trial. That said, there are plenty of light notes in this chapter, as Jordan finds every excuse to make it about herself. 

Aliya and Tanner are back with special guest Stephanie Hofmann. In this episode, a year has passed since Natalie's wedding and Jordan wants to try and get her back. After she ropes in Jonah to help her, Jordan realizes just how bad of shape Natalie is in. (CW: abuse). 

Bare with Aliya and Tanner as there is a barking dog in the background. We come together for a wedding and the story gets juicer as we learn that Selena has an EVIL TWIN.  Weddings truly bring family together.

Aliya and Tanner are back with special guest Stephanie Hofmann! This episode features a sad wedding inspired by "Cath..." by Death Cab For Cutie. In this episode Tanner also talks about getting a custom license plate and it is proven that Tanner is a Luke Skywalker. Aliya and Tanner also take time to recap the last few chapters to Stephanie. 

Aliya and Tanner are back with a banger of a chapter. It starts with a birth and ends with a proposal. . . but not one anyone was expecting or wanting. We're starting the downward spiral of one character in particular — you don't want to miss this shit. 

Tanner also talks about season 12 of drag race and his love for the actor Jonathan Bennett from Mean Girls who recently got engaged. 

Aliya and Tanner are back with special guest Stephanie Hofmann. In this episode, Tanner puts up a photo of Ewan McGregor as his zoom background and decides with Stephanie that he'll move into the apartment and have his own Ewan McGregor room.

This chapter, however, reckons with the fallout from the war and the bad king killing the uncle. Our main boy proposes to the princess and a wedding is on the way in the next chapter. What could possibly go wrong?
