(00:00-15:16) On The Anthony Gargano Show, Anthony opens the show talking about the Phillies win over the Diamondbacks yesterday, specifically the much-needed 9th Inning game tying Home Run by Trea Turner.  He segues that into the main topic of today, the mind of great athletes.  What makes Jalen Hurts, Jalen Hurts?  Anthony gets Andrew’s thoughts on this topic.

(15:25-45:49) Anthony and Andrew talk about the difference between kids following baseball now compared to when they were kids.  Anthony talks about how he and his friends could rattle off almost every lineup on any baseball team throughout Major League Baseball.  Can kids do that these days?  What is the difference between sports and kids in 2023 and sports and kids in 1993?  The guys also talk about the popularity of baseball cards.  Popularity is increasing again but it still might not be where it was 30 years ago.

(45:50-56:39) Andrew opens the vault.  He plays some classic audio from fights between Muhammad Ali vs Sonny Liston as well as Joe Frazier vs Ron Stander.  He also wishes former Phillies star Dave Hollins a Happy Birthday with a highlight.  Andrew ends the vault with some old school Flyers audio.

(56:48-1:17:49) Anthony and Andrew talk more about kids and sports and how different it is these days.  The talk turns to the Flyers.  Anthony wonders how the Flyers spiraled down like they have in recent years.  There are things competitive to great teams do that the Flyers just aren’t doing.

(1:17:53-2:24:12) The conversation turns to the New Jersey shore.  Anthony and Andrew share their opinions of certain areas and features.  It doesn’t sit well with some of you who call in and give your thoughts.  This has turned into “Shore Wars”.  The guys also talked about Memorial Day foods, favorite shore spots and toasted pound cake.
