They start off by talking about how a film producer’s duties can be difficult to define and varies from production to production. They also discuss their own personal experiences with producers, the ways in which a film director can find a producer and recommendations for that all important relationship. 

They do not touch on what a producer can bring to the table in terms of funding, as they plan to discuss "funding" in its own episode later on.
