Short Time Shots

Time to get back in the ring, to take another swing. The walls were shaking, the earth was quaking, my mind was aching – you know what, I saw AC/DC live back in 2016, you don’t need to relive that show, although it was super awesome. I’d previous had tickets to see them in high […]

Don’t think I’ll be using that AirPod/Backpack Studio connection in the future, especially in the garage. My wife took slight exception to the note about the noise, but after nine and a half years of marriage, I still like to poke a little fun. I’m Jason Bryant, and this is Short Time Shots, a mostly […]

I’m Jason Bryant, and this is Short Time Shots, a mostly daily look at the scores and more from around the world of wrestling. My wife’s asleep, so I’m doing something different and recording this using the Backpack app on my phone. I’m standing in my 44-degree garage. And of course, this is now the […]

It was Monday. It didn’t snow. That’s all you need to know. This is Short Time Shots, a mostly daily look back at the scores and more from the world of wrestling, I’m Jason Bryant. Oh, I bought a standing desk today. I’ll put it in the office when that finally gets done. Ever seen […]

Sometimes you have to pivot. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow – somewhere else. You know what, I made my bed, so I’ll lie in it. I moved here. Like the point, counterpoint in the movie Airplane! said, they bought their tickets, they knew what they were getting into. I say, let’em crash. Well, let me shiver. […]

Holy crap it’s cold. Like I know I live in Minnesota, but it’s November 12 and the daytime high wasn’t the issue, it was the five degrees this morning while getting the kids ready for school. I chatted with ODU wrestling coach Steve Martin this morning. The first thing he asked me was how the […]

November 11 is a day that’s extremely memorable for me and the career path I chose. You see, 11 years ago, Kyle Klingman and I kicked off our very first podcast, Wrestling 411. By the way, I’m Jason Bryant, and this is Short Time Shots, a mostly daily look at the scores and more from […]

There’s been 10 straight days of Short Time Shots. This is National Podcast Post Month, which is kinda like National Novel Writing Month. NaPodPoMo as compared to NaNoWriMo. The goal is to put out a podcast a day for the month of November. This is part of the reason Short Time Shots came back. The […]
