I got a letter to day from Live Out Loud, a LGBTQ youth support organization. It’s bad. And HRC, and others, post every day about new horrors against the community.

THIS is why my perspective on the USA right now is different. Because no one is coming to help the LGBTQ community of America. No one came before. No one is coming now. And today’s youth have been protected, coddled, shielded from the homophobia of the 50s, 60, 70, 80s, 90s…they’ve lived in a world of Chappel Rhône and Sam Smith in lace on awards shows.

They’re in for a very rude awakening.
