This week I got upset with my kids again for beating me in a game.

This time, though, I took the time to really sit with my emotions and understand why this has been such a problem for me.

What I uncovered was a deep issue with my identity.

That identity was: I am the best.

While this may seem like the kind of affirmation that would get you everything you want in life…

For me it caused a lot of problems. 

With myself, my wife, my kids and my business.
