Doug and Pesach sit down with a very special guest, Pesach's father, Rabbi Yosef Wolicki. On the morning of October 6th, 1973 - the holiest day on the Jewish calendar, Yom Kippur - the security guard at Rabbi Yosef Wolicki's local synagogue told him that Israel was under attack. He shares memories of how he responded as the rabbi of the community, what it was like traveling to the front lines in Egypt, his experiences visiting hospitals and soldiers, the sense of depression that overtook Israel despite their eventual victory, and what lessons all people of faith must take from the Yom Kippur War as we analyze what happened fifty years later.

Pesach and Doug sit down with David Lange of israellycool.com to discuss the ways that the Anti-Defamation League may actually promote antisemitism even as it claims to fight it. And there's plenty more: they talk all about Elon Musk's threat to sue the ADL, whether the hashtag #bantheADL is antisemitic, some of the reasons that many people misunderstand the Jewish community, and much more. (Yes, of course, Roger Waters makes an appearance here, as well.)

After catching up on how Doug and Sam are doing homeschooling their kids, Pesach and Doug have a conversation about the upcoming festival of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year. Pesach explains the deeper Biblical meaning of the Shofar and how the sounds we hear represent the mission of all people of faith.
As Doug and Pesach prepare for their 100th episode, we have a big announcement about new developments with the podcast. We reminisce a bit and share our new vision for the future. DON'T MISS THIS IMPORTANT MESSAGE!

How many ambassadors share a weekly bible teaching on the radio? Doug and Pesach have the honor of hosting Israel's Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, the Hon. Akiva Tor. Ambassador Tor tells his own story as a Bible-believing, Torah observant diplomat in the Far East, explains the important developments in the South Korea - Israel relationship, and reminds us all of the role of Israel as a light unto the nations. Don't miss Ambassador Tor's prayer at the end of the conversation!
Why is something with so many prohibitions, warnings, and negative biblical examples the very thing God uses in ceremonies, rituals, as an offering in the Temple, and in some cases, even obligatory drunkenness? Pesach and Doug dive into the biblical positions on alcohol and the different approaches professed by Jews and Christians.
On Thursday, March 23, Regent University hosted a symposium entitled The Theology of Land: Why is a specific land important to God's universal purposes? Pesach organized the symposium in cooperation with the Regent School of Divinity. Pesach gives a brief intro to the remarkable talk delivered at the symposium by Rabbi Dr. Ari Lamm.
Pesach and Doug sit down with Assemblies of God missionary to Africa, Pastor Joe Martin to discuss his journey to the mission field. What makes you pack up your wife and kids to move halfway around the world - especially when you're going to a Muslim-majority country where Christianity is almost a novelty?
Pesach and Doug catch up after a busy few weeks for them. Then Doug asks Pesach about the Jewish fast of the 9th of Av and the three weeks leading up to the day. The fast day is to commemorate the day that both Temples were destroyed. They explore why many Jews will not shave their beards or take cold showers during the time leading up to the fast.
Pesach has a conversation with Dr. John Garr, founder and president of Hebraic Christian College, an online academy of higher learning that aims to educate Christians about the Jewish roots of their faith. Dr. Garr, author of dozens of scholarly works of theology, shares his personal story of growing up with a love for Israel and the Jewish people, his lifelong dedication to combating what he calls, "the heresy of supersessionism," and his vision of all Christians embracing the Jewish origins of their faith.
