Today's dose of "Vitamin D" is dedicated to showing yourself love. You know, I say how you do anything is how you'll do everything. And that starts with you. How do you treat yourself? Are you kind to yourself? Do you treat yourself with grace? I was in a gym working out and a classic track came on. Show Me Love by Robin S. All I can hear and say, "what I need is somebody who really cares." Oh, oh, you got to show me love. Anyway, so she's jamming with that and I'm sitting there and I'm thinking because as I'm working out, I feel like I'm talking to myself about my dreams. See things that you care and that you love. You treat with care. You're kind with it.

You're graceful with it. You show up for it and you stand with integrity with it. She even goes on to say, "I really need a lover, a lover who wants to be there." Now, if it's your dreams, if it's your relationships, if it's yourself, are you loving on yourself? Are you loving on yourself the way that you say that you love yourself? Because then I wonder, how are you showing up for yourself? When we talk about living our best life it's about you showing up and showing up with love. And it's so easy for us to proclaim these affirmations, saying what we want to do, But as Robin says, she says, "Words are so easy to say. You've got to show me love."

She even goes further on to say, "actions speak louder than words." So you can say all you want about how you love yourself, how you want to do better, but what exactly are you doing? Because I need you to step boldly, unapologetically. And I want to quote Robin again "and come with your heart in your hand. And tell yourself, because my love is guaranteed." What are you guaranteeing for yourself? I'm just wondering. But whatever it is, I hope you handle it with care. Show yourself some love.
