Michael Mervosh M.Ed. is a licensed clinical psychologist in Pittsburgh, PA. He has been devoted to his full-time private practice, providing intensive individual and group psychotherapy for 25 years. He synthesizes his training background in Gestalt, Object Relations and Jungian orientations with extensive body-centered and mindfulness approaches.
His founding and lifelong work is with the Hero’s Journey Foundation, which he has cultivated over the past 18 years. This work is a uniquely crafted blend of nature-based psychological and mythological transformation work. He makes use of group process, community settings and majestic wilderness environments to deepen an individual’s self-awareness, and to help them embrace unifying life experiences. He is currently the Executive Director of this not-for-profit organization.
He is the co-founder and instructor of PsychoEnergetics Training, a four-year training program for depth work and process facilitation, set in community-oriented learning groups. PSEN Training is offered in the United States and Europe, with 50 students in each training program. It has been in existence since 2006.
