I know I’m late to talking about this, I’ve been trying to plan how to address the Muslim and Arab community and others who listen to my podcast. I feared, I wouldn’t use the right words or seem articulate. However, I can’t be silent because silence is part of the problem. As much as I hate cancel culture, I do believe someone In particular deserves all the cancellation she can receive. Tik tok’s very own Nessa Brooks. A few days ago she recorded herself throwing it back and dancing to a recitation or the Quran. Later when she got in trouble and being threatened to be canceled she realized nobody will be funding her fame anymore and posted a pathetic excuse for an apology by stating “I think I’m sorry...I didn’t know what it was.” We will be discussing this today on Shufi Podcast and a little update on my day!!
