Is weed really a gateway drug or have we been misusing the word and forgotten that addictive personality and hanging with the wrong wrong crowd are the true culprits behind the gateway to hard drugs.

Sometimes we change, our friends change, our outlooks change, and our goals change. We will be told our changes are bad and people will want us back to how we were. But I’m here to tell you...KEEP CHANGING. These are necessary milestones in our lives that make our future.

I am tired of hearing that fat is unhealthy. There is no lifestyle that equals fat. A lot of times it’s out of our control. However that does not mean a fat person cannot be a model, it does not mean they need to be shamed, it does not mean that they are not beautiful. The modeling industry is not choosing fat models to promote an unhealthy lifestyle. They are choosing them because it is time that we see that is normal that all body types are beautiful and it’s time to stop convincing young people that skinny means healthy and that skinny means beauty. Growing up I always thought that Arabs were just basically Caucasian or a little of tinted skin and hairy. I was never educated on Afro-Arabs. I never knew anyone who was black could speak Arabic or even be arab. It was a very not only ignorant but negative view I kept with myself up until high school. And it’s unfortunate to discover that I am not the only person who thought that way. Many Arabs in our communities still think this way and believe this way and even non-Arabs think this way. Mutaa’s are not commonly known even by Shia Muslims even though they are claimed to carry out Mutaa’s more often than Sunni. This is a dying practice and an illegal one in many Muslim predominant countries. Such as Iraq, but is still a practice some do illegally. Here in America, it is not commonly spoke about nor done.
