Penn State took care of business against SMU and moves on to Boise State in the quarterfinals. 

James Franklin notched his 100th win at Penn State and also his first CFP win. Penn State has their offense rolling and has a good run defense which will present quite the challenge for Boise State star RB Ashton Jeanty.

I'm so glad I was wrong about this game, Ryan Day and the coaching staff had his players ready to play. 

This was a perfect start and damn near perfect second half. This was also the best game of the season for the Buckeyes, showing everyone how dangerous they can be if they continue to play at their full potential.

Thoughts:
- Norte Dame's defense is filled with NFL guys and looks really good
- ND's offense is running the ball well - also Leonard's deep ball??!?
- Indiana had a great year, they reached their ceiling! 
- ND moves on to play Georgia in the Sugar Bowl....do I like ND here?

Ryan Day and his staff let down the Ohio State Buckeyes in the loss to Michigan. In what might be the most embarrassing loss for Ohio State in the history of this rivalry - the defense did enough but the offense failed. 

Throw in two Will Howard interceptions and two missed field goals, Michigan was able to take advantage and have now won four straight in this series. 

There's only one thing Ryan can do possible save his job at Ohio State and that's win the National Championship this year. He's on the hot seat, and might be in danger of losing his job.

With only one regular season week left in the 2024 regular season, Week 13 further clarified the picture of contenders and pretenders. 

The SEC is crumbling - Alabama, Ole Miss and Texas A&M all lost. They each have three losses and seasons are on life support. Georgia beat UMASS even though it wasn't pretty, but are the Bulldogs the best two loss team in the country? 

The Big 10 is showcasing its dominance. Oregon had a bye, but Ohio State notched it's second Top 5 win of the season over Indiana. Those are clearly the best two teams in the country. I'm guessing Indiana probably still makes the playoff and Penn State SURVIVED on the road against Minnesota.

The ACC is clearing up with SMU solidifying their spot in that conference championship game. Now Miami and Syracuse play next week to determine the other team in that game. 

The Big 12 is A MESS! Colorado lost, BYU lost....
There are FIVE teams 5-3 in conference play, and FOUR teams 6-2 in conference play. And how about ASU beating BYU to become 9-2 on the season!

Indiana cracks the Top 5 after reaching 10-0 for the FIRST TIME in school history! BYU somehow finds a way to remain undefeated. The SEC is a mess - Tennessee and Texas find themselves at the top of the standings while Alabama, Georgia and Ole Miss each find themselves with two losses. Alabama and Ole Miss both notched huge wins over the weekend and are trending upward. Notre Dame has fought their way back into the picture with some consistent play and Penn State & Ohio State find themselves comfortably ranked.
