SIDERIS PODCAST

In this sermon, we explore the Book of Joshua, emphasizing the pivotal role of land in God's redemptive plan and the transition from wandering to settlement. Joshua’s historical narrative reveals God's ongoing plan for humanity, showing His faithfulness through transitional phases and the significance of the promised land as a symbol of His presence and blessing. The story highlights the unity of the Old and New Testaments, with Joshua foreshadowing Jesus, the ultimate fulfillment of God’s promises. Courage, as exemplified by Joshua, is shown as moving forward in faith despite fear, encouraging believers to trust in God’s guidance. The local church, as the body of Christ, shines God’s light in the world, demonstrating His love and righteousness, while the Holy Spirit empowers believers to embody and share the Kingdom of God, serving as a beacon of hope and grace in a dark world.

How did I get here? Why do I know what I know? Questions like these are important to ask and answer. There is probably a long list of people you know about and an even longer list you don't know about who impact what you've come to know and believe about the way the world works.
