  • Speed and Rest
In the meditation on alacrity, sufficiency, and rest, practitioners embark on a journey of balanced living, between dynamism and serenity. With mindful intention, they embrace a zestful approach to life's challenges, infusing the mind with clarity and purposeful energy. Participants then transition to acknowledging sufficiency, recognizing abundance in the present moment, dissolving feelings of scarcity or inadequacy. Through focused breathwork and reflection, they acknowledge the sufficiency inherent in each moment, finding contentment in the present. Finally, the meditation gently guides individuals into a state where the body and mind surrender to tranquility. Through this practice, one learns to navigate life with vigor, appreciating abundance, and embracing moments of profound rejuvenation, fostering holistic well-being, to honor the importance of rejuvenation for body, mind, and soul.

    Parashat Terumah (Exodus 25:1 - 27:19)

    Chassidic teachers
The tachash (dolphin or unicorn) existed only in the time and place it was needed for the making of a “dwelling for God.” Thus, the tachash expressed the true nature of every creation: that it exists to the sole end of serving and revealing the divine essence implicit within it.
Every created entity has a spark of Godliness within it, a pinpoint of divinity that constitutes its “soul”, its spiritual function and design.
When we utilize something to serve the Creator, we penetrate its shell of mundanity, revealing and realizing its divine essence. Thus we elevate these “sparks”, reuniting them with their Source.
