Zoey Deutch teamed up with Dylan O'Brien again (they were previously in The Outfit together) to bring Not Okay, a satirical comedy about social media, to the small screen for Hulu. Deutch spoke exclusively to us via phone about what her experience was like filming, starting with the preparation -- down to the color of her character's nails and hair. Deutch also spoke about the film's ending and what she wants fans to walk away from after watching it.

AppleTV+ hosted the LA premiere of its new hit show, Black Bird. Inspired by real events, the story is about a drug dealer, who is trying to commune his sentence, and agrees to go undercover to prevent a serial killer from getting out of prison. On the red carpet, the cast spoke about what it was like working with one another, the importance of staying true to the story, and their love of Ray Liotta. Nicholas Galitzine, star of Purple Hearts, discusses the importance of getting things right in the film, working hard to research and speak to as many people who have served as possible, and how hard it was in terms of filming and getting through those weird chemistry tests done virtually. Since the movie was filmed during COVID, Galitzine said many things were different, but the experience was special. While he did address that one controversial lunch scene from the film -- we did spend more time talking about the amount of work he put into the film and some behind-the-scenes details.

The cast of There's Someone Inside Your House was excited to sit down with us to talk about how this movie is paying homage to those that came before it, such as Scream and Halloween -- while forging its own path. We spoke with Sydney Park, Théodore Pellerin, Asjha Cooper, Jesse LaTourette, Dale Whibley & Diego Josef -- as well as -- Director Patrick Brice & screenwriter Henry Gayden. Director, Scott Mann, came by to talk about the rollercoaster of a ride he puts the viewer through in his latest movie, Fall. Mann was overly excited to speak about the movie, which takes place almost entirely at the top of a tower, and how he kept the audience engaged while maintaining true to the storyline. Mann did confirm a few things: yes, it was that high, yes, the actors were stuck up there every day, and yes, the conditions you see them in were all real. So what does that mean? You are in for quite a treat when you watch this film, and two women fight to stay alive. We also spoke a bit about casting and, of course, everyone's love for Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

We were at the LA premiere of Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight premiere to speak to the cast about what fans can expect now that they get to see the characters live in an episodic world versus a one-time film. The premiere included everyone from Jack Black, Ed Weeks, James Hong, and more. All stopped by to talk about how excited they are for fans to see the new material, why it was important to make this a much longer story, and why everyone should go watch it with their kids. We even had a Strangers Thing moment at the premiere.

Max Greenfield, Betsy Brandt, Eugenio Derbez, and director Richard Wong sat down to discuss Hulu's new romantic comedy, The Valet. It is a remake of the French film The Valet (2006) by Francis Veber. Greenfield and Brandt (who play husband and wife in the movie) discuss how more money brings more problems and the importance of getting the comedic timing right while bringing their characters to life. While Derbez discusses the importance of being seen, tackling touch material, and having a voice. Wong, who steered this ship, said that making this film was very important for a multitude of reasons, including seeing immigrants in starring roles.

The cast of Five Days at Memorial came together to showcase its first episode at the premiere for AppleTV+. We spoke with Adepero Oduye, Carlton Cuse, Cherry Jones, Cornelius Smith Jr. , Julie Ann Emery, Michael Gaston, Molly Hager, Robert Pine, Sheri Fink, and W. Earl Brown. While the cast was excited to talk about the show, most focused on the hardships that many faced during Hurricane Katrina. The focus was to make sure this project was not only accurate, but really brought the audience inside of the hospital to try to get an idea of what it was like during the disaster with seemingly no help. This project was a labor of love and one that they were all happy to bring to AppleTV+ viewers.
