Many women are in an abusive relationship and find it hard to get away from the abuser. Lives have been lost behind the act of a controlling, jealous, insecure, and obsessive man to where the woman often times lose her life or someone close to them.

What are the warning signs to let someone know they are in an abusive relationship?

How do you tell someone they are in danger if they don’t get out of the abusive relationship?

Where can women go to seek shelter or help?

Are you willing to step up and save a life if the opportunity arises?

Purple Passage is a newly established 501 (c) 3 nonprofit geared towards helping young adults (18-25) get back on track and on an Academic/Career Path. We teach "real" social/life skills like character development, responsibility, money matters, and etiquette, just to name a few. In conjunction, we steer students toward taking at least one community college class to enhance their skills for self and workforce improvement. Our goal is to provide an educational scholarship to pay for tuition/books, as well as provide follow-up services a year after the student leaves our program.

Who are we: We are Advisors, Instructors, Mentors, and Coaches with decades of academic and professional experience that give back for FREE! We do it b/c we care.

Where: Renaissance Richardson Hotel 900 E. Lookout Drive Richardson, TX 75082. FREE Parking at Eisemann Garage next to Hotel.

Keeping things in perspective – Policy regarding police procedures were put in place to keep police in check. Each state have different policies and procedures so please keep in mind that what maybe a policy in one state may not be in another state. Understanding some of the policies from law enforcement will bridge the gap in effectively communicating and understanding procedures that most people in the community may not know or do not understand.  Who is truly programmed when it comes to police and the community? Let the discussion begin!!!

Earned the Title " World's Fastest Woman ", Women's RIGHTS Advocate Faye Wattleton was born July 8th, 1943 in St. Louis Missouri & Vanessa Williams on September 17th becomes the 1st Black Miss America! SALUTE to them ALL!

About the Book – Broken Butterflies – Broken Butterflies is a collection of unconventional poetry written by Krystal Holliday. The Book tells of a poets journey to self-mastery. It’s honest and reflective approach will leave the reader inspired and encouraged to follow the calling that nudges at one’s soul. “Broken Butterflies” explores the meaning of life through dialogue with God. In it you will find creative nuggets of truth sure to entertain and presents the audience with great read.

About Krystal Holliday – Krystal is a native of Dallas, TX. In 1998 she was placed into foster care where she stayed until she graduated high school in 2003. This experience has left a residue of resilience in her character and increased her compassion for youth in foster care. Krystal is a student at North Lake College who intends to continue her education at TCU. Her major of choice is English and Creative Writing. “My ultimate goal is to establish group homes for children all over the world that will provide those youth with exceptional education and a place they can call home.”
