There's an elite group of JERSEY BOYS fans called the “Elders” who know the history of The Four Seasons and JERSEY BOYS like the back of their hand. These people grew up with the Seasons music and have seen JERSEY BOYS dozens and dozens of times…EACH! Our special guest Charles Alexander is one of those elders!

Charles is a former editor at Time Magazine and has an extensive history with The Four Seasons and JERSEY BOYS.

Remember Frankie and Bob’s handshake? Gava? Those scenes are inspired by Charles’s business story in 1987 detailing their agreement to give each other “half of everything they record outside the group.”

In Part I of our interview with Charles, learn the details behind his influential article and how his relationship with Bob Gaudio led to him writing the liner notes for the Original Broadway Cast recording.

King is the first Black man to play Bob Crewe on the National Tour. We believe King is the first Black man to play Bob Crewe in a Dodgers production in United States ever!

This episode was so amazing that we needed to make it a two-parter!
