Severance of Gentile Christians from their Hebrew counterparts began to officially become reality with the rise of the Roman Emperor Constantine in the 4th Century A.D. especially when the edicts began to be issued from the 1st Council of Nicea in 325 A.D.

The Judeo-Christian experience has a Jewish foundation with its Abrahamic Covenantal System beginning with Father God's plan to rescue and deliver the world from its demonic captivity which was unleashed in Genesis chapter 3. The Apostles were Hebrew as were the 1st Testament prophets. The culture in which this covenantal system between God and mankind was formed was Hebrew. Its language carried the same name as its people: Hebrew. These same covenantal commitments were tied to the land as their inheritance bequeathed to them from Father God. This same system continued until its fulfillment in the New Testament with the arrival of the Jewish Messiah (Jesus of Nazareth) who would deliver all of the Father's children irrespective of their origin.The Law and the Prophets were fulfilled in and through Jesus as the Son of God and as the Son of  Man. (See Matthew 5:17) The bible's 66 books had 40 authors, at least 39 of whom were all Jews. The God of the Bible describes Himself more than any other description as the "God of Israel". This same God's framework for the redemption of the earth's nations (the Gentile people) is found in His dealings with the Jewish Nation of Israel. (Isaiah 42:5-8, 52:9-10) The people of Israel through their calendar are God's time clock for the destiny of both people groups (Jew and Gentile alike). 

What would come over us Gentiles to disconnect ourselves from Father God's Hebrew covenantal plan to redeem us back to Himself? (See Genesis chapters 12,15, 17, 26, and 28.)

In Ephesians chapter 2:11-22, Paul the Apostle describes Father God's mystery of the "One New Man in Abba Father"  as a construction project with Messiah Jesus being the chief cornerstone and the Hebrew apostles and prophets as the foundation of a whole building being fit together to grow into a holy temple of the Lord, a dwelling place of God. All this divine construction is messaging to the principalities and powers in the second heavens of the many sided wisdom of God that their time of controlling Earth is drawing to a close. (See Ephesians 3:9-10) This "One New Man" of both Jew and Gentile will be a creation of God in true righteousness and holiness. (See Ephesians 4:20-24) It will be the opposite of Satan's kingdom of lawlessness and rebellion.

Jesus in John 17: 20-24 describes the importance of God's Jewish and Gentile children coming into union with both Jesus and Father God as well as coming into union amongst themselves as both Jewish and Gentile siblings of the same Divine family. The importance of our unification with the Godhead and unification amongst ourselves sends a signal to the entire world that Father God sent His only begotten Son as the deliverer of the world from the oppression of Satan's government of darkness over the earth as well as the re-establishment of the Kingdom of God over mankind's inheritance of the material creation.  (Also see Ephesians 3:8-11)

God is building a human dwelling place for Himself in which to rest.(Isaiah 66:1-2)

By Jew and Gentile children coming together in unity back to the Father, through the Son, by the Holy Spirit, per Ephesians 2:18, we together are being built as a holy temple in the Lord with Christ as the chief corner stone, the Hebrew apostles and prophets as the foundation resulting in a human dwelling place of God in the Spirit. God's One New Humanity Construction Project of Ephesians chapters 2 and 3 involves a maturation process from infancy to maturity, from childhood to adulthood, seen in Ephesians chapter 4. Ephesians 4 deals with the formation of both Jew and Gentile into the image of the body of the Messiah Jesus, with Christ as the head of the body and us as diverse body parts contributing their unique giftings and Holy Spirit trained talents. The ultimate goal of this construction process is to produce a "new man in Messiah Jesus" which was created by God in true righteousness and holiness.

Obeying God's will produces righteousness, which in turn brings about our holiness. The goal of God in Scripture is that we as His children come into union with Him. As we come into union with God, we know Him experientially and relationally which comprises the meaning of "eternal life."

One New Man in Messiah of Ephesians chapters 2,3,4 and 5 brings both Jew and Gentile children of God together as unified royal family children through a mutual Messiah (Jesus) in order to reconcile both groups back to our mutual Father to deal militarily with our mutual enemy. Reconciliation means union with the Godhead. Reconciliation back to God brings life to us as we learn obedience to carry out the Father's will in all our matters. Obedience to God is the opposite of rebellion. Rebellion is the identity of Satan's kingdom.Rebellion in the form of disobedience separates us from the presence of God and brings us death, eternal death. Obedience is the identity of Creator God's kingdom. Obedience to God's will brings union and life in God. Obedience and rebellion are polar opposites.They reflect contrary kingdoms. Rebellion brings separation from God leading to eternal death. Obedience brings union with God and by definition in John 17:3, brings us life, eternal life. (See Matthew 19:16-17)

Relational Union with the Godhead is the goal of the Judeo-Christian walk. (See John 17:3, 20-24)

God's purpose for the drawing in of Gentiles into the Commonwealth of Israel and to be members of the household of God per Ephesians chapter 2 is to put on display to the authorities and rulers; that is the principalities and powers in the second heavens, the many sided wisdom of God (Ephesians 3:9-11) revealing that He did not ever change His mind regarding His plan to put mankind in charge of the material creation in Genesis chapters 1 and 2. His construction project continues in Ephesians chapter 4 by bringing to maturity each of us as infants so that we can grow into adulthood; no longer being deceived nor tricked by the falsehoods and trickery of the Adversary. The rebellion of the fallen angelic kingdom is known for its disobedience to God's will. The Revolutionary construction project of One New Man in Messiah which brings both Jew and Gentile into Union with each other and union with God is known for its obedience to God's will producing true righteousness and holiness .
