It can be flattering to have someone flirt with you. It can make someone feel attractive or even wanted, but not all advancements are wanted or appropriate. One instance where flirting is inappropriate is when you are in a relationship. Whether you are the one being flirted on or it’s your partner, how you handle flirtatious advancements is important.
When in a relationship you must always be on guard to protect against wolfs seeking to destroy and break up marriages and couples. In this podcast episode we discuss seductive advancements and what steps you can take to protect against them in your relationship.

People love taking relationship surveys, or character personality tests. They do this to not only better understand themselves, but also to better understand others in relationships. Though these tests can be fun, are they helpful? I would say most are not, but some are. Recently, I came across one that I liked, relationship attachment styles. These are characteristic traits people possess that impact their relationships with others.
Attachment styles have three primary categories. Those who are secure, anxious or avoident. The good news is that depending on which of these three you are, they don’t permanently define you. The styles test helps you to better understand which of the three you lean toward, so you can make a conscious effort to improve any unhealthy traits you may possess.
To talk about this in more detail, I welcome special guest and dating coach Carrie Cantrell to the show. In this podcast Carrie and I will discuss what relationship styles are, how they impact relationships, and steps you can take to improve your style? Take a free test and learn your attachment style.

Have you ever seen a relationship where every sign says they should end it, yet they remain in it because of the amount of time they’ve invested. WHY? Should duration of time be a reason to stay in a relationship? Well, it depends. This is not an easy answer because it differs based on the couple.
For example, is the couple married or not married. If married, a major factor is ones commitment to God regardless of time. If unmarried, other factors beyond time should play a role. Is he or she playing games and not willing to commit to a long term marriage? Has the relationship continually been in turmoil? Do they have major character flaws you keep dismissing? These questions help you to determine if a future is possible.
Is duration of time a reason to stay in a relationship? In this podcast, we’ll answer this question and more, sharing reasons why time is and also isn’t important.

Most people understand that attraction plays a big role within relationships. Often when we think of attraction we think of facial features or body features, but what about self-care and grooming. Self care and grooming deals with how people take care of their body. This includes basic grooming such as brushing one’s teeth, or taking a shower, but also includes shaving ones body hair, combing one’s hair, or ironing one’s clothes.
In this podcast episode we discuss the the relevance of self-care and grooming. What role does it play within relationships and is it important? We are excited to welcome guest hosts Dana Tyler to offer a woman’s point of view.

The term, what’s love got to do with it was made popular by Tina Turner in the 80’s. Although, this was just a song, is there any truth to the idea. Unfortunately, people have done very cruel things within what was supposed to be a love relationship, and people have subjected themselves to cruelty in the name of love.
How can love be such a great experience for some, and for others a nightmare?
In this podcast episode we explore the idea of love being just a second hand emotion, and ask the question, what’s love got to do with it? We discuss how a person’s experience can warp their perception. We also clarify what love is and what it isn’t. Please share this with a friend. Anyone and everyone in a relationship needs to hear this.
