  • Introducing The Simply Separated Podcast with Cassandra Kalpaxis

Welcome to the first introductory episode of the ‘Simply Separated Podcast’ hosted by Cassandra Kalpaxis, the Director of Kalpaxis Legal and our Principal Solicitor.

Cassandra grew up in a big Greek family where family was her first and foremost priority. Growing up in this environment developed her interest in the family unit and has driven her to help individuals navigate the divorce and separation process, which is usually a really difficult time in their lives.

In this ‘Simply Separated’ Podcast Series we will discuss alternate options from the traditional litigious avenue of divorce. Our goal is to change the way that people view divorce and the way that we, as family lawyers, advise them in this process. Separation and divorce do not need to be messy and Cassandra and her team will encourage couples to take a friendly and transparent approach to separation and hopefully allow them to remain friends in the process.

In this series, we will speak to a number of experts including a Naturopath, Journalist, Clinical Psychologists, Barristers, Mediators, as well as Family and Child counsellors just to name a few.

With these experts we will talk about:

    • Viewing divorce holistically
    • Changing the acrimonious approach to divorce
    • Changing the way that society views separation and divorce
    • Amicable separations and staying out of court with the goal of attending children
    • Professional services available to smooth the process

    • Looking after yourself during separation
