super series
Really distraught that the next book isn't out on audio yet!! Can't RC Bray record faster? Love this series and his narration!
An excellent continuation of a great series.
Where does The Flood rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?
I've listened to a ton of audio books, but as far as the 12 Arisen books I've listened to so far, I'd rate this one in the top three (behind Exodus and Genesis). It's definitely one of the better books in the series.
What did you like best about this story?
This story has finally merged the Standalone arc with the main one. It's been a long time coming, and I'm excited to see where it goes from here.
Have you listened to any of R.C. Brays other performances before? How does this one compare?
This one ranks towards the top. Just when I thought I had become familiar with the range of characters he can portray, he goes and throws a couple new ones, complete with their own inflection and accents, into the mix. He's an excellent reader.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
There were a few giggles here and there, but nothing extreme.
Any additional comments?
This book is nearly end-to-end action, which is in no small part to the previous book being a bit on the stagnant side. What I mean by that was that it served as one giant setup to this one. I'm a huge fan of this series, but it really feels like many of these books can be paired directly to another and combined into one cohesive narrative. This aspect of the series has always felt like a money grab to me. With that aside, I still maintain this is an excellent series, and well worth the read/listen if you're looking for a decent Zombie Apocalypse story with a focus on action. This is seriously good stuff.
This series just keeps you wanting more
Mr. Fuchs, Your ability to transport me , to take my mind to another place and time. I felt I should be holding onto something the whole listen.
an extremely entertaining saga.
I enjoy each and every one of the books in the Arisen series. looking forward to the next one.
Excellent ZA writing
This series is one of the best ZA series in terms of character development, writing style, storyline, etc. the narration is also excellent. It is very difficult to find ZA books with this level of writing, so I highly recommend.
