Great Review on the Details of testing and Preparing the Soil
For a beginner the information on Sunlight, Watering, and especially preparing the soil before planting. The author makes the major point of using soil testing. One very confusing reference, is the constant referral of compost as manure. The author discussed ph, organic matter, drainage and type of soil spoke about Nitrogen, too much or too little. He did not say much about Phosphorus or Potassium. Mentioned Blossom End Rot but barely mentioned using Sulfur or Calcium to address pH. It's an ok overview for an experienced gardener. But there are whole books on just growing tomatoes. Let alone the other basics you might want in your salad bowl. Devoting your first years to a salad garden, is a good start, tomatoes, bell peppers, Cucumbers, onion sets, if you love salads, add something new each year. Mastery Breeds Confidence, then branch out to squashes, or Eggplants or herbs, or more complex growing of plants. The growing methods are neat, clean, and extremely easy to manage. It's one of the best-laid out user-friendly books I've read, and it gets straight to the point without any fluff. I've been growing tomatoes for years, and I learned a lot from this book.

We love tomatoes
I want to try to grow tomatoes at my backyard because my family loves to eat tomatoes. When I saw this book I immediately grabbed and read it. This book shows to me the basics in growing tomatoes. This book explained to me the factors influence tomato growth. I learned soil testing strategies that test if my backyard soil suit for growing tomatoes. I also learned how to care for my growing tomatoes. I am ready to plant tomatoes in my backyard and I hope it will be successful.
Excellent Book
Tomatoes are good in our skin. It has so many beneficial effects in our lives . Likewise I really loved to plant trees and vegetable plants. It seems so nice to see your plants growing fast. This book covers way on how to stay healthy and good my tomatoes. Then we cannot deny the fact that tomatoes are very useful and helpful for all of us. The style of writing is easy to understand and precise. The author did a great job. I highly recommend.
