Welcome to another great episode of the Sing Second podcast. We bring you the stories and happenings at the Naval Academy and the Naval Academy Alumni Association and Foundation.
Our observance of African American History Month continues with an amazing dual interview with two Distinguished Graduates.
Admiral Julius Caesar '77 is the President of the Naval Academy Minority Association (NAMA) and was elected as a DG last year. Admiral Derwood Curtis '76 was one of the co-founders of NAMA and is still very involved in the mentoring of midshipmen and alumni.
They both join us to share their recollections of life at USNA and the lessons they learned along the way. More importantly, they talk about the bright future of NAMA and the merits of giving back to their alma mater.
We also talk about a great honor for Matice Wright-Springer '88 at the BEYA Annual Awards and a tough weekend for wrestling on the mat vs Army.
That and more on Sing Second...brought to you by ProMD Health in Annapolis, Scott Schuetter '00 and the Shrek Realty Crew, and StratasCorp Technologies.
