Welcome to another great episode of the Sing Second podcast. We bring you the stories and happenings at the Naval Academy and the Naval Academy Alumni Association and Foundation.
May 9-10 marks the Service Academy Career Conference (SACC) in Chicago, Ill. This is the 30th year of SACC, and we discuss the origins of SACC with the program's OG - Dave Church '67. Dave joins Mike Lowe '98, our current Director of Alumni Support Services, to talk about the benefits of SACC and the future of the program.
We also talk with former Commandant RDML (ret) Robb Chadwick about his father, Stephen. RDML Stephen Chadwick will be laid to rest May 10 at USNA. RObb joins the pod to talk about what made his dad so special and about all of the neat overlaps the two of them enjoyed in their careers.
Chris and John also talk about a rough loss for Navy Rugby and how utterly ridiculous it was that Navy Women's Lax didn't get an NCAA at-large bid.
That and more on Sing Second...brought to you by ProMD Health in Annapolis, Scott Schuetter '00 and the Shrek Realty Crew, and StratasCorp Technologies.
