HELLOOOO BESTIES! Welcome Back To Tana Talks & Welcome to the new year! We are starting off the year with one of my most favorite humans, Thats right week we are joined with the one and only Rhonda Lucas. Rhonda Lucas is a wife, mother, author, founder of Calebs Cup, Speaker, all around hype woman, and the newest and best title is grandma to Wonder!!

Im absolutely honored to have Rhonda trust her story to be on the podcast. This week we discuss losing her son, Caleb. Starting Caleb's cup. Writing her book "Just Once.”We discussed how painful it was for her to write this book & how long the healing process took. We discuss grief and ways Rhonda coped. We also talk forgiveness and how she has turned the most painful season of her life into her lifes mission and purpose.

Rhonda honors Caleb everyday and through Caleb’s cup. Caleb’s Cup Mission statement is “to help other young people to be able to use their gift of music and performing arts.”

It often is difficult to find the funds to provide for those passionately pursuing this gift that they are born with, a Gift from God.  Matt and Rhonda bring hope to those who aren't the "traditional students" who are not sure where to go, how to do it, how will I ever have funds to even buy an instrument. etc. Caleb's motto was "No Judgement", something  that could all be used by everyone on this earth.  With No Judgement we are able to help young people where they  are, then help to show them a different path, a path full of hopes, dreams and prayers answered.” -Rhonda Lucas

Sam Thomas is here and he brought a PANK DRANNNNKKKK.  This week Tana Talks with Sam Thomas! Sam Thomas Is a recent UGA grad, who spends his time SLANGIN BEANS at Valor Coffee. Sam majored in Entertainment and Media Studies. Sam is also a contract Host and all around MC HYPEMAN. This week Sam talks all things breaking his leg in front of his whole school, starting comedy, and even starting therapy. We’re out here breaking the stigmas around men going to therapy. 

  Lastly we talk all things Texas Roadhouse. Sam has created a beautiful love song to Texas Roadhouse, however Montana used to work at Texas Roadhouse and has a lot of old trauma that needs to be healed. In this talk Sam explains his love for the Honey Butter, and it gets Montana thinking of the 2 love stories in her own life that are only because of Texas Roadhouse.   Sam is working on his chain restaurant album and we really can’t wait for it. Born with fire and sass into  a family of all brothers, Haylie Montgomery rapidly graduated from making only family and friends laugh and into a stand-up career overnight, quickly becoming a recognizable presence on Atlanta's Comedy Circuit. JORDAN BALL IS BACK AND HES GETTING MARRIED!!!! That's right this week Tana Talks with a guest who needs no introduction, we have Jordan Ball back on the podcast!!! Jordan was the first guest we ever had on the podcast, and a returning listener favorite... BUT he's back with his forever plus one: the beautiful Isabelle Tossani.

This week Tana Talks with LISA SMITH! Lisa is so funny she makes Montana's literal hair fall out! Which is refreshing, because Montana used to be terrified of Lisa. (LOL)  Lisa is a comic from Atlanta, Georgia. Lisa Smith has been performing comedy for four years. In that time she was a resident comedian at Star Bar and Laughing Skull Lounge, opened for Tone Bell, Jamie Lee, and Guy Branum, was one of the hosts during Skullfest 2019, finalist in the Charleston comedy competition, and won the Atlanta Punchlines Sunday Comedy Festival. She also performs regularly in venues around the Southeast. 

This week we talk all things Bad Breakups, Becoming a Comic, and how to create your own space in Comedy.
