Greg and Frank were able to pod together for the first time in a few weeks to recap Notre Dame's win over North Carolina.  The Irish defense let Sam Howell look like the pre-season Heisman candidate he was - even though he hasn't looked the part much since.

On Halloween Eve the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame will matchup against the North Carolina Tarheels as Brian Kelly looks to move to 7-1 without star safety Kyle Hamilton. The offense finally took on some normalcy against rival USC last weekend with a rejuvenated running game and an uptempo, quick passing style with Jack Coan at quarterback.

The defense hung tough after losing Hamilton during their second defensive series, limiting the Trojans to three points at half and 16 for the game. Can they duplicate that performance against UNC's high-powered attack? Greg brings on On3's Ashton Pollard to discuss the matchup.

Frank recorded a solo podcast given the time-zone and schedule challenges he and Greg have at the moment.  Throughout the episode, Frank started off a little worried about the Tar Heels at first but ended up talking himself into the Irish winning relatively comfortably. 

Greg is back from South Bend with a lost voice but a happy heart, as he and his friend Michael Muto discuss the game and their weekend at Notre Dame. Michael did not enjoy the ending but loved the scene, as the Irish made it four straight against the Trojans and moved to 6-1 on the season, despite Greg's beloved Kyle Hamilton leaving the game early due to injury.

While Frank and Greg's timezone differences might not allow for in-week podcasts at the moment while Frank adjusts to his new world of being a father, he had some time to dust off his mic and talk Notre Dame football with Ryan Ritter of Her Loyal Sons. 

Frank still enjoyed a delicious IPA during the pod while Ryan took down some late afternoon coffee.  

It's rivalry week in South Bend as Notre Dame takes on USC in the greatest intersectional rivalry in college football. Notre Dame is looking to finish the season on a seven game winning streak while USC tries to win their ninth road game in a row, the last two under interim head coach Donte Williams. Embattled former USC coach Clay Helton was fired earlier this season and the Trojans enter the contest unranked at 3-3, having just lost at home for the first time ever to Utah.

Notre Dame left Lane Stadium on Saturday with a 5-1 record thanks for another win over an ACC opponent (the Irish are 25-1 in the regular season against the ACC since 2017).  It was a wild rollercoaster of a ride, but when it was over, the Irish were on top and might just finally have some direction on offense for the rest of the year. 

We open this week's pre-game pod talking about how the QB position has been holding Notre Dame back at times during the Brian Kelly era then dive into a ton of questions posed to us this week that just so happened to fit into our rough outline for the show. 

Frank apologized for repeating a beer, but he needed to capitalize on the opportunity to enjoy a high ABV beverage that was sitting around. 

For the first time this season, we pod after a loss and it's definitely not as fun as podcasting after a win.  Notre Dame's offense struggled again today and this time it cost the Irish their first loss of the season.  We break down all that went wrong for Notre Dame while spending a lot of time devoted to the quarterback position.
