Do a quick Google search and you will see staggering statistics about how few single moms find community in the local church. Too often, single moms view church as a place that just isn’t for them and not worth the effort for a variety of reasons. Today we sat down with Kelly Wehunt, Arise Single Moms Director of Events, and a former church staff member to discuss this problem. We explore what the Bible says about single parents in the church. Our hope is that at the end of this podcast, you will see that not only do single moms need the church, but the church needs them too.
