Cathy's advice for single parents:
Do not put your needs on the backburner (either emotional, physical, health, etc). As parents we tend to put ourselves on the back burner in order to focus solely on our children, surviving, or are distracted by everything happening all at once, meaning our health (all-encompassing of physical, mental, spiritual and emotional) tend to suffer. You cant be strong, be helpful, be present with your kids if YOU aren't you. I want to remind women that we don't have to choose between maintaining our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health- we HAVE to put our own oxygen masks on, if we want to be successful in our business, relationships, and our families, making our own health again all encompassing (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) a priority is key.
