Sinister Nation

We have taken a step back and looked at our content... Sinister Nation was born out of no where and we jumped right in.  We found ourselves cramming info every week trying to get all the details of a case every week.  We feel some of our shows were rushed... we have decided to take some time and put together shows of better quality.  Once we have some in the bag... WE WILL BE BACK better than ever and more prepared for you! While this is happening, please email your suggestions... what serial killers, conspiracy theories, cryptids, or unsolved mysteries do you want us to cover the most?

Come laugh with us as we discuss all the creepy happenings of the Cecil Hotel.  Many people committed suicide and did weird things while staying at the Cecil.  The most common form seems to be poisoning themselves and includes jumping out of the windows.  It has been said that serial killer Richard Ramirez even stayed at the hotel during his murders.

Elisa Lam may be the most popular incident to take place.  It is also the most recent.  She was found dead in a large water tank on the roof of the building.  No one knows how she got in there and why she was in there as access to the roof was blocked and key cards were needed to get there.  There is a theory of her possibly getting there via the old fire escapes.

Lam was known to be taking medications to help her with her mental issues.  You can find her creepy and infamous Elevator Video on YouTube where she seems to be trying to get away from someone who is not there and possibly talking to someone who is also not there.

David Paulides has been working on these mysterious cases of people who have simply just vanished. Some bodies have been found, some never to be seen again. In this episode we explore the world of David's Missing 411. What happened to these people? In some cases, people went missing even while with a group of people... one minute they are there, the next, gone! Most of these disappearances happen in the wilderness, at public parks, close to bodies of water or stone fields.

In this episode we will dive into some of these cases and the details. In one case, people found clothing and shoes of a missing child almost in perfect condition years later.

Our good friend Adam Marcus joins the show for a BS session like no other! This episode if full of stories and entertainment! Adam Marcus is a film director... He directed "Jason Goes to Hell the Final Friday, Secret Santa, and many other films. Adam is currently working on a documentary, "Hearts of Darkness, the Making of the Final Friday, about all the obstacles he had to go through to complete the film. "This is not a fluff piece", is something Adam says about the doc.

Adam also is the writer/director of Secret Santa... a Horromedy like no other. Secret Santa has VERY WELL DONE story line on top of all the hilariousness you will find in the film. This should be put in Christmas Movie rotation of EVERY horror fan out there... and even those that are not. Adam has been coming on our other podcast, The Jackwagon Express, for years and we are very thankful he gives us his time for Sinister Nation as well!

On this final episode of the DB Cooper series, we cover all the main suspects in the case.  There have been many people say they have a secret and they were DB Cooper.  Many books and documentaries have come out claiming the identity of DB Cooper.  We may never know the truth.  Decide for yourself once you listen to all the details on the suspects.

The DB Cooper Investigation is very interesting. There was nothing really to go on other than the generic description of Cooper given by the flight attendants. The pilot has an idea of when he jumped but can't say for sure. Were they searching in the right area? What evidence did they collect? How did the weather affect the investigation.... the rain, snow and cold and off road terrain do not make for the best searching conditions.

In 1980, nine years after the jump there was a breaking discovery which gave the case hope. An 8 year old boy found three stacks of cash on section of beach known as Tena Bar. The serial numbers matched the Cooper money. Where did this take the investigation? Find out all the details in this episode!!!

On November 24th 1971, a cold rainy day, a well dressed clean shaven man wearing a business suit and carrying a briefcase and atache bag, walks into the Portland Oregon airport looking to purchase a short 30 minute one way flight to Seattle Tacoma Airport. The man walked up to the flight counter and identified himself as Dan Cooper. Dan Cooper paid $20 cash for the ticket and was assigned to seat 18c on Northwest Orient Airlines flight 305.

This is how the story starts for the infamous DB Cooper. Cooper was a very polite man through the entire hijacking, even offering a bundle of his ransom cash to one of the flight attendants. In this episode of Sinister Nation, we dive into the case of DB Cooper, and the story of how the hijacking went down from start to finish. We end the episode with a conversation on how we think it may have happened and why. Is this a complete CIA operation with people involved to change security and policies at airports? Was there another reason?

The Texarkana Moonlight/Phantom Murders was a series of attacks by an unknown masked man in 1946. The man used what is described as a white pillow case with eye holes cut out to conceal his identity during the attacks. His MO was to attack couples, though he did not start that way. There are many theories as to why he was doing what he was doing and many suspects. There where many people questioned about the brutal sexual assaults and murders but no one was ever arrested. Find out all the details of the cases in this episode of Sinister Nation!
