Sit Down To Stand up

This episode I catch up with the very funny Dilruk Jayasinha. Dilruk loves everything about his craft of comedy, in fact if he won the lottery tomorrow nothing would change in his life, expect maybe buying a nice house!

This episode I catch up with Alasdair Tremblay-Birchall a writer for T.V and a stand up comic. Alasdair is a 'sounding board' for a number of his comedy friends, I decided to also get him to be my sounding board on a few of my ideas. little did I know what impact he'd have on this entire podcast.

This episode I catch up with, in my opinion, one of this country's funniest young comedians. Amos Gill and I met in 2015 when we were chucked together to launch a new breakfast radio show in Adelaide. One of the nicest blokes around and a truly gifted guy. Enjoy!

This episode I catch up with me old mate Lowie. He's been doing radio & TV from his early teens. The former host of Lowie's Hot 30 & Ralph TV, he currently calls L.A home where he is a regular on the comedy circuit and hosts his show 'Lowie Live' which can be heard across the ARN network on KIIS FM.

In episode 3 I catch up with Melbourne comedian and the 2014 RAW Comedy winner.

I met Matt when I went to watch a stand up show in St Kilda in Melbourne, I loved his set and approached him after the show to see if he would be keen to come on Sit Down to Stand Up... He said Yes!

In episode two I catch up with radio personality, writer and comedian James McCann! I met James when I moved to Adelaide to do breakfast radio.

James is quirky and an odd ball, when you first come across him you instantly think, this guy has to be some sort of lunatic!! He is a genuine and lovely guy and also very funny!

Episode one I catch up with Australia's number one comedian and co-host of Hughesy & Kate on Southern Cross Austereo's HIT Network Dave 'Hughesy' Hughes.

I have spent the last decade of my life working on Australian radio as a Dj, working solo and as part of comedy based show's. Most recently I've become part of the National Australian drive show Hughesy & Kate working as the shows anchor.

For years I've loved the idea of getting up on stage and trying my hand at comedy but have never had the guts to do it. ‘Sit Down to Stand up’ sees me interviewing comedians from all over the world on their own journey to the comedy stage, as well as their process of writing a show and jokes. The podcast conclusion will be me doing my own 5min set at a local Melbourne Comedy club.
