October is almost here and we've got a show that's tastier than pumpkin spice - We start with "The Artist's Wife" which stars Leno Olin as the wife of the renowned abstract artist Richard Smythson (Bruce Dern), who is plunged into a late-life crisis when her husband is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and is in danger of not completing the paintings for his final show. And if that's not enough angst for you Bill McCuddy tells us about "Delhi Crime" which follows the Delhi Police investigation into the finding of the men who perpetrated a deadly crime that made international news. And speaking of crime, there's also "Kajillionaire." It stars Evan Rachel Wood as a woman whose life is turned upside down when her criminal parents invite an outsider to join them on a major heist they're planning. But wait, there's also "Enola Holmes." It's on Netflix and stars Millie Bobbie Brown ("Stranger Things") as Enola Holmes-Sherlock's teen sister-who discovers her mother missing, and sets off to find her, becoming a super-sleuth in her own right as she outwits her famous brother and unravels a dangerous conspiracy around a mysterious young Lord. Any normal podcast would call that enough, but we're not what you call normal. So we also discuss that strange Emmy Awards Show last week and well as the upcoming season of "Saturday Night Live." As always, Neil Rosen, Bill McCuddy and Bill Bregoli are on hand and we should mention that we're sponsored by The Accutron Show, because, why not!
