Spring is in the air, and we're back with another survivor story. When she was 20-years-old, Colleen Stan was kidnapped while hitchhiking from Eugene, Oregon to California. She was locked up in a box, tortured and assaulted for over 7.5 years. Not only did she manage to finally get away, but she managed to make it through an arduous trial to make sure he got put away for a very long time.
The problem is, due to California laws, her attacker is eligible for parole this year (September of 2021 to be exact), and we may need to rally to make sure he doesn't get out. Stay tuned!
Sensitive listeners be warned. Colleen's story is probably one of the more brutal survivor stories that we've covered.
