Today's episode includes a mysterious disappearance, a camp murder, and an accidental electrocution.

O'Dell kicks things off with the disappearance of Eric Lee Franks, a man who moved to Michigan to reconnect with "the one who got away" and meet the 15-year-old daughter he never knew he had. One day Eric told his mom he'd decided to stay in Michigan, and he was happier than he'd been in a while. What went wrong, and more importantly, what happened to Eric?

Erin then discusses a case that is right out of an 80's horror movie. Three young girls are brutally murdered in their tent at an Oklahoma summer camp in 1977. The camp was shut down, and no one knows for sure who committed these heinous crimes.

O'Dell closes things out with the story of a German serial killer who literally turned himself on one night during some alone time in his cell, and then we cleanse the palette by discussing which cartoon world we'd want to visit.

On today's Slash episode, Erin tells the story of Kristy Frensley.

On October 15, 2008, Kristy - whose house was for sale - was approached by a man while she was working in her yard. The man asked if she would show it to him. Once inside, the man put a gun to her head and proceeded to violently attack her and her children before lighting the house on fire. Kristy survived, but her children didn't.

After the story, O'Dell provides a short update on John Skelton, addresses a listener write-in about Kyron Horman, and provides a fan theory about how Stranger Things and the Dyatlov pass case may connect in the upcoming season. We close things out with a time-travel palette cleanser and lots of questions about time travel etiquette. Somehow, Erin ends up riding an elephant.

On this episode our virtual true crime road trips take us to Arizona and Wisconsin, and we have two very different missing persons cases for you.

Erin kicks things off with the case of Robert William Fisher, an Arizona man who police believe murdered his family, made his house explode and then went into hiding. Until recently he was one of the FBI's 10 most wanted. Is he dead, or just really good at dodging authorities?

O'Dell follows up with the case of 7-year-old Alexis Patterson who went to school one morning but didn't return home. Her mother hasn't given up hope that someday, she will find her little girl.

We close things out with a WTF death involving an eagle, a tortoise and a prophecy, and then we cleanse the palette by building our own super heroes. What would your powers be?

This week O'Dell kicks things off with a virtual road trip stop in Missouri where he talks about the story of Lynn Messer who some say went out for a walk one evening and vanished. Two years later, her remains were found at the edge of the family's 260-acre farm. What happened, and does someone know more than they are letting on?

Erin then makes a stop in Albuquerque, NM where she visits the case of the West Mesa murders. A serial killer targeted sex workers in the early 2000's, and buried their bodies in a mass grave site at the edge of the city. To this day, police still haven't found who did it.

O'Dell closes things out with a WTF story about a bride who murdered her husband eight days after the wedding simply because she felt she'd made a mistake.

We kick off 2022 with a return to our virtual true crime road trip.

Erin kicks things off in her home state of Texas, and discusses the lover's lane murder of Cheryl Henry and Andy Atkinson. Who killed the lovers? Was it a serial killer?

O'Dell then stops in Colorado and discusses the mysterious death of David Chase and the private investigator who claimed that David's ghost reached out to him from beyond the grave to lead him to the killer. Was it a short-tempered neighbor, or members of a sex-trafficking circle who had it out for David and his wife?

Erin closes things out with the tale of a king who was murdered on the toilet, and then we cleanse the palette with a few "would you rather" questions.

We're closing out 2021 with a "Slash" episode about a 17-year-old kid named Nathan Brooks whose devotion to Satan lead him to murder his parents. His younger brother's act of rebellion kept him from meeting the same fate.

Despite Nathan being captured, the murders set off a wave of Satanic panic, and when police later found a "kill list" while gathering evidence from the home, the panic worsened around the entire town of Bellaire, OH. Halloween was cancelled that year and the entire town was completely changed.

We close things out with updates on John Wayne Gacy's victims, and a final update on the Linda Stoltzfoos murder case.

We made it through another "Holi-slay" season. Today we close out our holiday specials with a potential Oregon serial killer and a Kentucky tragedy from 1881.

O'Dell kicks things off with an apology to Erin for thoroughly messing up her story last week, and then shares the story of Kaye Turner - a woman who went missing on Christmas Eve in 1978. Kaye's body was found eight months later, but the case would remain cold until July 1990, when 13-year-old Rachanda Pickle went missing, and authorities realized they may be dealing with a serial killer.

Erin then discusses a case known as the Ashland Tragedy. In 1881, three teenagers were brutally murdered on December 23. The murders led the town to three locals, and when police didn't move fast enough, vigilantes took matters into their own hands.

O'Dell closes things out with a WTF story of death and resurrection and then cleanses the palette with the story of a burglar and a cat named Spaghetti.

Erin kicks things off with the decades old unsolved mystery of the disappearance of Lauria Bible and Ashley Freeman, two high school girls from Oklahoma who disappeared a few days before New Year's Eve in 1999. Ashley's parents were found murdered and the home was set ablaze, but the girls have never been found and nobody can be trusted - not even law enforcement.

O'Dell then tells the story of 19-year-old Rhonda Hinson, who was shot and killed while driving home from a Christmas Party. The bullet went through the trunk of her moving car, through the driver's seat and pierced her heart. Was it an assassin, a crazy accident or a really lucky shot made by someone who had it out for her? Recently, an investigative journalist has started asking questions of those closest to Rhonda, and a lot of fingers are being pointed. Will the case finally be solved?

Erin closes things out with a story about a man who was killed by tampons and then O'Dell cleanses the palette with a surprise visit from Santa. We're each given 24-hours to experience anything we want with zero repercussions, and not surprisingly, we both choose very different things.

O'Dell kicks things off with the kidnapping of Jonelle Matthews who went missing form her family's home on December 20, 1984. 35 years later her remains were found, and an Idaho gubernatorial candidate was indicted in her murder in 2020. His trial began in October 2021.

Erin then talks about the murder of Sameena Imam who was dating a man named Roger Cooper. Roger was juggling three women,and decided Sameena wanted more than he was ready to give, so he had his brother help him plan the perfect murder (or so they thought).

O'Dell closes things out with a story of terrorist monkeys which leads to a discussion of which animal would leave us shaking in our shoes were we to meet it face to face.

O'Dell then covers the story of the missing Martin family who left their Portland home one Sunday morning in 1958 and have not been seen or heard from since. It was supposed to be a family outing to gather greenery for Christmas decorations, but what really transpired?

Erin brings us home with a WTF story about a man who died after too many years of accepting dares from his buddies, and then we cleanse the palette with another "what if?" involving a strange baby.
