Someone once said, “Hurt people hurt people.”

Unfortunately, we will always have this kind of people in our organization.

They are detail conscious. However, this can lead them to negativity. They seem to only see the negative.

How do we deal with them?

What comes to mind when you read the title of today’s episode? “Difficult people” does not always mean those who irritate you. Some are those who are living under the influence of their fears.  How do we deal with this kind of people?

There are two groups of people in every organization: players and pretenders. Pretenders can sometimes masquerade as players. For a leader, it’s important to identify the pretenders within an organization before they disrupt the team’s momentum and damage its relationships.

Leaders have been characterized by these things: task-driven, action-oriented, achievement & revenues. However, when it comes to leadership, is that all? What is one thing that we can’t remove from leadership?

It is a brutal fact that we find: many of the leaders are leading from the middle. They are not at the top in their organizations. So, if leadership is not about title and position, how do they make sure that they lead effectively and increase their influence?

Leaders have always been associated with vision and mission. However, there is one thing that most leaders have failed to do in today's organizations that they don't really realize.
