On the final episode of Sketch-i-Cast COVID Edition, we interview MICA alumni from 2020: animator Rebecca Luo & illustrator Maria Diaz. Having been over a year since their graduation within the coronavirus, these two lovely introverts go into what they've been doing lately personally and professionally and how much they have grown since their start in college.

Having went from a highly creative animation student to ending up in prestigious animation studios like Blue Sky and Pixar, Olivia has a very profound knowledge and love of animation, storytelling, filmmaking and other art forms. For tonight's episode of Sketch-i-Cast, we'll be hearing from another friend of mine from UArts.
Ever since her love of animation, cartoons, Beetlejuice and furries, Emma "Peaches" Settes has been pursuing the art of moving images further and further at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Tonight, we spoke about the experience creating her own sophomore student film during the pandemic and UArts' first full year online.

In honor of the new Sony Pictures Animation film released on Netflix, me and a couple of MICA Animation peers, Rachel Pulido & Lakeisha Felton, sat down to discuss our thoughts on The Mitchells vs. the Machines. Needless to say, we were all on the same page, even if we all had some varying views.

For the last April episode of the podcast, a close artist friend of mine Kristina Garcia(a.k.a. kyunu_kun online) shares her insight on working freelance and the importance of self care as a young artist.
Also, be warned for excessive nerd-out sessions, cause we got a little too carried away in our passions.

On tonight's latest episode of Sketch-i-Cast, animator/filmmaker/professor Albert Birney goes into his career of exploring the vast possibilities that animation and experimental filmmaking have taken him. These include the vine series turned movie Sylvio, the anthology flick Tux & Fanny and the upcoming Strawberry Mansion.

Tonight's episode is a little different than the usual Sketch-i-Cast installment, as Lanei & Dante of the I'm Totally Doing OK podcast take over the show. Rather than interviewing them on specific topics of my own choosing, we all just kinda vented on random stuff we're all passionate about, be it mental health, movies, stop-motion, Willem Dafoe, etc.
Also, this episode does feature a lot more risque content than the previous ones, so fair warning that we did get a little too off the handle.
